Translators as standard
OneCNC has adaptive file translators that allow you to exchange
files with any design system in the world and they're standard,
not add-ons. We have included our translators in our packages,
which is good news for you because you never know how a customer
or a client will send you a file. Most CAM systems individually
charge for each translator, which can end up doubling the cost of
the system.
SolidWorks Compatibility
Being a SolidWorks solution partner provides security of continued
compatibility between OneCNC and SolidWorks.

Neutral formats
Translators can be a nightmare for most people after buying a CAM
package, yet in OneCNC you will never give it a second thought.
OneCNC imports faster, easier and better than you can imagine. We
believe that we have the best interoperability in the CAD/CAM industry.
OneCNC can accept files from any CAD system via, DXF, DWG, IGES, VDA, STEP,
SAT, Parasolid, Solidworks or OpenNURB. Version incompatibilities are eliminated through
these standard neutral file formats that OneCNC supports.
A bad import is basically useless for manufacturing
Some CAD/CAM system incorrectly import files, which degrades
the original information and causes a incorrect or bad manufactured
finish.
Here are some well known problems in the CAD/CAM industry :
- Importing only line and arc information. (no surfaces or solids)
- Converting the format to STL triangle information. (degraded on importing)
- Approximation of the surface or solid instead of retaining the
Nurb information.
OneCNC is a 100% Nurb solution and the file
formats contain 100% Nurb information. This means the imported data
is kept in its original form. (no converting)
