OneCNC rest robot
This rest material technology is designed to clearly highlight areas of material that have not yet been removed by machining. It works by creating a simulation of the material left over from a tool path. At any stage this rest information is calculated from singular or groups of tool paths to indicate what is still there. This totally integrated technology developed by OneCNC has distinct advantages over third-party type add-on rest verification.
The OneCNC rest robot clearly defines the material that
still has to be removed automatically. After each successive
machining step, the rest material is automatically updated.
At any stage of the manufacturing process this can be viewed
to confirm completion. OneCNC provides these powerful functions
to display, analyse and check the remaining rest material
in a fast high quality model. Again complete dynamic viewing
is available as well as set 2D and 3D viewing angles.
Rest colours indicate material that is left on the part. Red areas indicate material that is still to be removed or in some cases can even indicate where material has been machined away. Yellow or orange areas indicate areas of interest and may still need removing. Gray metallic colours indicate areas that are fully machined to the part model. If the part is completely metallic gray it is fully machined to the part.
